These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Markdown to PDF (the "Service", available at markdowntofile.com). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Markdown to PDF is a free, browser-based tool that converts Markdown into PDF documents. The conversion happens entirely on your device. We provide the Service "as is" for your personal and commercial use, subject to these Terms.

2. Acceptable use

• You are responsible for the content you create, convert and download.
• You agree not to use the Service for unlawful purposes or to infringe others' rights.
• You agree not to attempt to disrupt, attack, or reverse-engineer the Service in ways that harm it or other users.

3. Your content

You retain all rights to the content you convert. Because conversion is client-side, we do not receive, store or claim any ownership over your content. See our Privacy Policy for details.

4. Intellectual property

The Service's name, branding, design and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you rights to our trademarks or branding.

5. No warranty

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that output will meet every requirement. Always review generated PDFs before relying on them.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data or profits, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the Service.

7. Third-party resources

The Service may load third-party assets (such as fonts or stylesheets) from content delivery networks. We are not responsible for the availability or policies of those third parties.

8. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify or discontinue the Service, and may update these Terms, at any time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
